Mais um reconhecimento na ALEMANHA!

One more recognition in GERMANY!

Em 30 de maio foram anunciados "Os mais belos livros alemães do ano", seleção promovida pela entidade "Stiftung Buchkunst". Entre eles está a versão germânica de "O Fim da Fila" (Eine Geschichte Ohne Ende) – publicada pela editora suíça Baobab Books. O livro concorre ao prêmio máximo com outros quatro títulos na categoria Livro Infantil.

 Esta seleção leva em conta todo o projeto do livro, inclusive sua impressão e acabamento, o que significa que a Baobab Books (http://www.baobabbooks.ch/) caprichou na produção – a edição é cartonada. Os vencedores de cada categoria serão conhecidos em setembro, um mês antes do anúncio do Prêmio Alemão de Literatura Infantil, no qual "O fim da fila" também concorre, porém na categoria Picture Book (Álbum Ilustrado) – ver post de 16/06/2016.  



On May 30th the "Most Beautiful German Books of the Year" award announced its selection. This prize is promoted by "Stiftung Buchkunst" and concerns the entire book project, including its printing and full term.

 "Eine Geschichte Ohne Ende", the Swiss edition of "The end of the line" is nominated together with four other titles to the Children's Book category. The award winners will be known in September, one month before the "German Children's Literature Award" announcement (in which "The end of the line" is also nominated, in Picture Book category) – see the post from 16/06/2016.

"O FIM DA FILA" em Espanhol!

"THE END OF THE LINE" in Spanish!

Foi lançada no último mês de maio "Al final de la fila", a edição em espanhol do meu livro de imagem O fim da fila.

 Produzido em capa dura pela Fondo de Cultura Económica (FCE) – editora mexicana reconhecida pela qualidade de seus títulos – o livro já pode ser encontrado em toda a América Latina e Espanha.
"El Fondo" é um poderoso grupo editorial vinculado ao governo mexicano e possui 27 livrarias no país, além de 10 filiais fora dele. Em maio inúmeros eventos promovem o lançamento de "Al final de la fila".

 Muito feliz com mais esse vôo do livro, agora formatado para o público "hispanohablante". Sobretudo por ele fazer parte da coleção "Los especiales de a la orilla del viento", que inclui títulos de peso e publica os vencedores do concurso "La orilla del viento" para álbuns ilustrados (picture books).

“Al final de la fila”, the Spanish version of my image book “The end of the line”, was released last May.
The book was produced in hard cover by Fondo de Cultura Económica (FCE) – a Mexican publishing house recognized for its high quality titles – and can be found in Spain and all Latin America.

“El Fondo” is a powerful publishing group linked to the government of Mexico. It has 27 bookshops in the country and 10 headquarters abroad. "Al final de la fila" is been promoted through several events in May.

I’m very happy with this new “flight” of the book, now adapted for Spanish speakers. Mainly because it is taking part in the “Los especiales de a la orilla del viento" collection – which includes prestigious titles, some of them awarded by the "La orilla del viento" picture book contest.
